An Austrian court's has ordered that the man who allegedly imprisoned and
raped his daughter for 24 years be kept in custody for a further month.
Seventy-three-year-old Josef Fritzl appeared in court for the first time
today since his arrest last week.
He has apparently confessed to locking his teenage daughter in a secret
underground living area 24 years ago.
The now 42-year-old woman was rescued last week along with three of the
seven children she gave birth to as a result of sexual abuse at the hands of
her father.
