Josef Fritzl held his daughter captive for 24 years, Austria's police said
Paparazzi in tussle with security at clinic treating Fritzl victims
Monday, May 19, 2008
Austrian authorities say a security guard has been injured in a tussle with a paparazzi photographer at the psychiatric clinic treating the victims of "dungeon dad" Josef Fritzl.
Officials say the photographer struck the unidentified 30-year-old guard with a baton while trying to enter the complex just outside the town of Amstetten, west of Vienna.
They say the guard - one of several helping to provide 24-hour security at the clinic - is being treated for unspecified injuries.
Authorities said today's incident is the latest in a string of attempts by paparazzi to get photos of Fritzl's alleged victims.
Police say Fritzl confessed to imprisoning his daughter in a windowless cell for 24 years and fathering seven children with her.
