Police have taken 32 pregnant teenagers from an illegal clinic accused of selling babies in south-east Nigeria.

They arrested the facility's director and the girls.

Abia state police chief Bala Hassan said they believe the girls went there willingly to give birth and sell the babies.

The director denies re-selling the babies at a higher price.
