Belgium: 10th suspect arrested in Paris attacks probe

A 10th suspect has been arrested in Belgium in connection with the Paris terror attacks in November.

The man, a Belgian national born in 1993 and identified only as Ayoub B, was detained on Wednesday following a search in the Molenbeek neighbourhood of Brussels, where some of the Paris attackers lived.

A judge charged him with terrorist murder and participation in the activities of a terrorist group.

In a statement on Thursday, the Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office said about 10 mobile phones were seized during the search, and are being examined.

The suspect, the 10th arrest in Belgium in connection with the November 13 attacks in the French capital in which 130 people were killed, will appear before another judge within five days. They will decide whether he should continue to be held in preventive detention.
