British boy kidnapper gets 60 years
A Pakistani man has been jailed for 60 years for kidnapping a five-year-old British boy who was on holiday in the country.
The court also ordered the seizure of all belongings and property of the kidnapper, Imran Husain, said an official in Rawalpindi.
Court official Fayaz Haider said the court handed down the verdict on Thursday but gave no more details.
The boy, Sahil Saeed Naqqash, from Oldham, was kidnapped from his grandparents' house in central Pakistan in March 2010.
The robbers had held his family at gunpoint and demanded a £100,000 ransom.
He was released unharmed after two weeks.
