A British man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy in the Netherlands, police confirmed.
West Yorkshire Police said a 29-year-old man was arrested in Leeds on behalf of the Dutch authorities.
He was arrested on a European Arrest Warrant and his extradition to the Netherlands has been requested.
West Yorkshire Police officers assisted in the arrest along with those from the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) who are assisting the Dutch authorities in the investigation.
The arrested man appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on Tuesday as part of the extradition process and was remanded in custody until May 3, said a spokesman for Soca.
A 24-year-old British man has also been arrested in Amsterdam in relation to the killing, which took place at a trailer camp on July 14 last year.
Danny Gubbels was shot in a caravan in the city of Breda, in the south of the country.
