Britons held on drugs charges

Three Britons have been charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine on flights from Jamaica to the UK.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force alleges 29-year-old Ferron Ford, of Birmingham, attempted to smuggle about 3lbs of cocaine onto a UK-bound Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.

Two other British men, whose identities were not disclosed, have been arrested at the airport in the capital Kingston as they were trying to get to London. Nearly 8lbs of cocaine was allegedly found in their bags.
