A promising teenage musician died from multiple wounds after an attack by two coyotes in a Canadian national park.
Taylor Mitchell, 19, a singer-songwriter from Toronto who was touring her new folk album on the East Coast, was hiking alone on a trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Nova Scotia when the attack happened.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said other hikers heard her screams for help and called emergency services. Police wounded one of the animals, but the coyotes managed to flee.
