China's Wen meets Germany's Merkel
China's premier and several ministers are in Germany for meetings bringing together the biggest economies of Asia and Europe with the aim of deepening business and political ties.
Wen Jiabao will attend a Chinese-German economic forum in Berlin before meeting Chancellor Angela Merkel at her office.
German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle has said he sees "no danger in China, but an enormous opportunity".
China overtook Germany as the world's biggest exporter in 2009. It was the seventh biggest buyer of German exports last year and led the list of importers to Germany.
Mr Wen's visit to Germany is the last stop on a three-nation tour that has also included EU president Hungary and Britain.
Mr Westerwelle signalled that human rights issues will also be on the agenda.
