Dominique Strauss-Kahn may sue maid
Dominique Strauss-Kahn may take civil legal action against the hotel maid who accused him of sexually assaulting her in a now-dismissed criminal case, one of his lawyers said.
The former IMF chief, nicknamed DSK, could file his own claims to counter Nafissatou Diallo's ongoing civil lawsuit, said lawyer Benjamin Brafman.
He said: "That's certainly a consideration, because she did lie, and he has suffered enormous damages as a result of those lies."
A court on Tuesday dismissed attempted-rape and other charges against Mr Strauss-Kahn.
