Donkeys suspected of killing man

Peaceful British donkeys, but two in Hungary are suspected of killing a man

Two donkeys are suspected of mauling an elderly man to death in Hungary.

Sandor Horvath, a 65-year-old retired firefighter, was apparently pulled off his motorcycle by the donkeys kept on a field next to his small farm in the town of Magyarszecsod. The animals are thought to have dragged him 50 yards, biting and trampling him.

Police say they are still working on the case but have no new developments to report.

The results of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death have not been released.

The donkeys are being kept under observation for another week before their fate is decided.
