ETA suspects arrested in France
Four men suspected of being members of the Basque separatist group ETA, including a likely military chief, have been arrested in northern France, a French judicial official said.
The official said arms, documents in the Basque language and computers were seized when the four were arrested in the town of Willencourt, in France's Pas-de-Calais region.
Police from the swat team RAID, an anti-terror unit and Lille police made the arrests on Thursday night. Officials are working to identify the suspects and carrying out searches.
Spain-based ETA members often hide out in France, which cooperates closely with Madrid in hunting down suspects.
