Former Thai prime minister released

An aide to former Thailand prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra says she has been released from military custody.

The aide said Ms Yingluck was freed on Monday and has returned to her home.

Ms Yingluck had been summoned by the army and held at an undisclosed location without a telephone since Friday following Thailand's military coup
