Gabor taken ill after Taylor death

Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor, pictured here in 1966, has been taken to hospital with high blood pressure

Shocked Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor has been taken to hospital with high blood pressure after learning of the death of her friend Elizabeth Taylor.

Gabor, 94, feared she would be next, said her publicist John Blanchette.

She was watching the news at her Los Angeles home when she heard her friend and one-time neighbour had died.

Mr Blanchette said Gabor was inconsolable and in a reference to the common myth that celebrity deaths come in threes, commented: "Oh, Jane Russell and Liz Taylor - I'm next."

Gabor has been in ill health and her right leg was partially amputated in January.

Mr Blanchette said Gabor would be in hospital until Monday evening, but said she was a fighter and added: "She's not going to be the third."
