Grenade injures 26 at Bosnia club

Twenty-six people were wounded when a man threw a hand grenade into a nightclub in Bosnia

A man threw a hand grenade into a nightclub in Bosnia, wounding 26 people, then called police to complain that bouncers had beaten him up afterwards, police said.

Six of the victims were seriously injured in the incident in Velika Kladusa, western Bosnia.

Police said that an hour after the attack they arrested the 30-year-old suspect after they responded to his call from a nearby restaurant where they found him with visible injuries.

Witnesses told Bosnian TV that the man was removed from the nightclub because he was going from table to table insulting guests.

It is reported he returned later and threw the grenade over the heads of the bouncers who tried to prevent him from getting in.
