A roadside bomb has struck a bus carrying soldiers in Iraq, killing nine people and injuring five others near the northern city of Mosul.
The blast hit the vehicle on Wednesday afternoon on the highway between Mosul and the town of Tal Afar, 260 miles north-west of Baghdad, Iraqi military and police officials said.
The officials said the Iraqi soldiers on board were on holiday.
