Kidnapped Nigerian children freed
Kidnappers have released 15 children abducted from a bus on their way to school in Nigeria four days ago, police said.
Federal police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu said all the pupils were in good health but he did not know if a ransom was paid to secure their release.
Gunmen stopped the school bus on Monday morning as it headed toward the Abayi International School near Nigeria's oil-rich and restive southern delta.
Middle-class children, as well as priests, politicians and doctors in Nigeria have increasingly been targeted by criminal gangs for kidnappings.
But Monday's attack shocked even Nigeria's president, who vowed to save the children and end the recent spate of abductions.
