Kirk stunned by Mr Sulu's gay wedding snub
Friday, 24 October 2008
Star Trek’s Mr Sulu is in big trouble with Captain Kirk.
Actor William Shatner, who played the captain in the long-running science fiction series, is upset because George Takei, who was Mr Sulu, did not invite him to his wedding last month.
In a video posted on 77-year-old Shatner’s web site, he lashed out at Takei for not inviting him to the ceremony. He said Takei apparently harbours a grudge against him that kept him from being invited.
“The whole thing makes me feel badly,” Shatner said in the video. “Poor man. There is such a sickness there.”
Takei and partner Brad Altman had previously stated that Shatner was invited to their wedding, but he never replied.

Maybe the invite was vaporized in the transpoter.

I'm sure trhat Captain Kirk had better things to do than go to a gay 'wedding'. I'm sure that there are still a lot of clingons that he has to deal with.

Calm down, ladies. Handbags at twenty paces.
