Friday, 17 February 2012
A man crushed his three daughters to death with stones while they slept in a remote Nepalese mountain village.
Bhakta Bahadur Rumba, 35, killed the girls, aged seven, 10 and 13, at their house in Faparbari village, about 50 miles south of the capital Katmandu, police said.
Rumba's wife was at a relative's wedding at the time.
Police said Rumba was arrested and was being taken with the girls' bodies to Hetauda, the nearest city. They said the motive for the killings was unknown.
