Man found dead at Newton-John home

A man has been found dead from a gunshot wound inside a US home owned by singer Olivia Newton-John and her husband.

Police said the unidentified victim was not a resident or relative of the residents. A spokesman said the victim had permission to be at the home in Jupiter, California, but had not been staying there.

Initial media reports listed the death as a suicide, but police said the case is classified as a death investigation. Police did not said whether foul play was involved.

The Palm Beach Post reports construction was being done on the home.
