Michael Schumacher: Latest news not good, says Luca di Montezemolo
The latest news about Michael Schumacher's health has been described as "not good" by his former Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo.
Although details of his health have been kept within a close circle of family and friends, di Montezemolo said on Thursday: “I have news and unfortunately it is not good.
“Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999," added di Montezemolo.
He did not elaborate. Schumacher's official spokesperson Sabine Kehm has declined to comment.
It is now more than two years since the German's horrific skiing accident where he suffered serious head injuries after going off-piste on the French Alps in December 2013.
He was later placed in a medically induced coma to keep his condition stable.
In November, FIA president Jean Todt said Schumacher was "still fighting".
