Mozambique passenger plane missing

Mozambique Airlines has said a plane carrying 28 passengers and six crew members did not land as scheduled in Angola, and authorities are trying to determine its location.

The airline said in a statement that Flight TM470 took off from Maputo, the Mozambican capital, and was scheduled to land at 2.10pm local time in Luanda, the Angolan capital.

The statement says the airline is trying to confirm a report that the plane landed in Rundu, in northern Namibia. The area is on the border with Angola.
