OAP webcam couple are YouTube stars

An elderly couple in Oregon, USA have achieved YouTube stardom - after unwittingly filming themselves on a new webcam.

Bruce Huffman, 86, and his wife, Esther, 79, who live in the Hillside Retirement Community in McMinnville, were trying to work out how to use their new computer when they made the video.

The couple unwittingly pressed "record" on their new laptop's web camera in mid-August.

The resulting video, recorded without their knowledge, captures them messing around, worrying about wrinkles in their faces and questioning whether the camera is working.

“That’s a pretty good monkey,” Bruce Huffman says on the tape.

The couple's granddaughter asked permission to post the video online, where it had racked up more than two million hits on YouTube by Thursday.
