Ohio shoppers riot after woman's lottery hoax

A woman in Ohio caused a riot at a clothing store after announcing she had won the lottery and would pay for everyone's purchases.
The woman arrived in a limousine and by the time police got there 500 people were inside with another 1,000 queueing.
After staff discovered the woman had no money customers grabbed clothes without paying. She was arrested and sent for mental health checks.

Well if that doesn't say something about our entitlement embracing society, nothing does... when they found out it was a hoax, people just started stealing stuff? Idiots ought to all be in jail.

Why is this a news story? That poor lady could have serious mental problems, how is this going to help her regain her dignity once she recovers to know that the whole world was laughing at her? Shame on you Belfast Telegraph. You never know when this type of thing might happen to you or one of yours so I hope whoever thought this was a worthy news story bears that in mind.

Haha America is full of greedy consumers. UK and Ireland gone the same way. All people think about is competitive shopping. For many it is a hobby. How sad.
