One worker was killed and six others were injured after an underground explosion rocked a suburb of the New Zealand city of Auckland.
Police communications manager Natalie Swart said the workers were about 13 feet below the ground working on a water main when the explosion took place on Saturday morning in the suburb of Onehunga.
She said it is unclear what caused the blast.
Swart said one worker was in a hospital in critical condition, while a second remains there with serious injuries.
The other four injured workers were treated for less serious injuries.
