Prom shooting in Wisconsin leaves three people injured
A person with a rifle opened fire outside a high school prom in Wisconsin, leaving three people injured, police reported.
The armed person "showed up" on Saturday night at Antigo High School and started firing at two people outside the building.
Police said officers in a nearby parking lot heard gunshots, and one officer fired on the suspect, "stopping the threat."
All the people at the prom were eventually "escorted from the school and are safe."
It was not immediately known if the unidentified suspect, who is now in custody, was among the injured at the hospital, or if they were a student.
The condition of those injured was not immediately known, but all three were taken to hospital.
