Rocket fired into Israel
Militants in the Gaza Strip have fired a rocket at Israel, but officials said it caused no damage or casualties.
A Hamas official said at least one rocket was fired tonight but it is not clear who fired it.
Hamas, the Islamic militant group that rules Gaza, has fired thousands of rockets at Israel over the years. But rocket fire has mostly stopped since the end of last summer's war between Gaza militants and Israel.
Other militant groups have fired rockets in the meantime, though Israel holds Hamas responsible for all attacks coming out of Gaza.
Israel's military said there were no reports of casualties after the rocket landed. Sirens wailed in several southern Israeli communities.
