Second World War bomb unearthed in Berlin
An area of Berlin has been evacuated after construction workers uncovered an unexploded Second World War bomb.
The bomb was dropped by an Allied plane and still has its fuse intact.
Police said the American bomb was discovered during work in the Rummelsburg neighbourhood of the capital, just over a mile from a former stretch of the Berlin Wall that has been painted by artists known as the East Side Gallery, a popular tourist destination.
A radius of 250 metres around the bomb site has been cleared as disposal experts defuse and remove it.
