Spanish police smash cocaine ring

Police in Spain claim they have smashed Europe's largest and most sophisticated cocaine lab.
They said 25 people were arrested and 300 kilograms of the drug and 33 tons of chemicals used to prepare it for sale were seized.
Police also confiscated 470 mobile phones and seized £1.7 million in cash in the raid on a villa outside Madrid.
Those arrested included Colombians and several Spanish lawyers who helped launder money made from the sale of the cocaine
Police said the operation followed two years of investigations.
