Subway bombing death toll rises
A 47-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in this week's bombing of the subway in Belarus, taking the death toll from the attack to 13.
The health ministry said 161 people remain in hospital after Monday's bombing, which tore through the busiest station in the capital, Minsk.
Authorities have announced five arrests. President Alexander Lukashenko ordered prosecutors to interrogate opposition activists over the bombing, sparking fears that he is using the attack as a pretext to crush the remnants of political pluralism.
The prosecutor general has threatened to "bring order" to the internet, the last outpost of free speech in Belarus.
Mr Lukashenko has run the former Soviet nation of 10 million with an iron fist for nearly 17 years.
