Syrian forces kill two protesters

Syrian security forces yesterday fired on tens of thousands of anti-government protesters, killing at least two people in the eastern city of Deir el-Zour, reports have claimed.

Human rights groups say President Bashar Assad's armed forces have killed more than 2, people since the uprising against his autocratic rule erupted in mid-March.
