A Kazakh businessman yesterday denied charges he financed a sex party on one of the world's largest yachts.
Tevfik Arif went on trial with nine other suspects in the city of Antalya.
Other suspects face charges of human smuggling, encouraging prostitution and establishing a crime ring, the Anatolia news agency said.
Turkey deported nine Russian and Ukrainian women, including two minors, after authorities said they busted a prostitution ring on the MV Savarona in late September.
The yacht was once used by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey.
