Three tourists drowned after a sightseeing submarine sank off the coast of a Red Sea resort (AP)
The victims were a couple and their child, said an Egyptian security official.
It sank near the city of Hurghada. The 13 other tourists on board were rescued.
Submarine excursions that allow tourists to gaze at the Red Sea's famous coral reefs and tropical fish from the sub's windows are popular with tourists visiting Egypt.
