Twin Towers collapsed 'due to magnetic energy'
Wednesday, 10 September 2008
Scientists can finally explain why the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11, despite the temperature of the fires being well below the 1,500C melting point of the steel girders holding up the buildings.
The discovery that unusual magnetic forces within the girders made them weak at temperatures of about 500C explains away the conspiracy theories that have spread like wildfire since the disaster.
Sergei Dudarev, of the UK Atomic Energy Agency, found that steel loses its strength above 500C because its molecules undergo a physical transition from one state to another due to magnetic fluctuations.
"The steel didn't melt, it just became soft. It is an unusual state and the temperatures in the Twin Towers were high enough to cause it because the thermal insulation was knocked off the girders through the impact with the aircraft," he said.
"Understanding how materials behave means we can find the right 'medicine' to make steel stronger at high temperatures... and if our work can be used for other applications, such as safeguarding tall buildings against disasters, so much the better," he said.

It may be "soften" BUT the rest of building wasn't "soften" and with that, the top should have tippet over.. the collaps should have been way difference..but it didn't.. it ran trough the undamage/non-soften..and not so much resistance.
HOW do you explain that???
If u can't, then the statment u saying here isn't much evidence.

I'll see if the Tele allows me to reply to the conspiracy theories posted on this page.
Regarding the similar building fire in Madrid - it wasn't hit by an airliner doing over 500 miles per hour - so it's not really similar at all.
Building 7 was hit by debris from the twin towers, caught fire, and collapsed about 7 hours after the attacks. Firefighters were unable to fight the fires effectively because of low water pressure. The building collapsed after being on fire for around 7 hours...
Molten steel was found in the debris at ground zero, 6 weeks after the attack. However, as iron burns in air (it's called 'rust') - and the debris prevented the heat of the rusting from escaping (a smouldering fire) this is not unexpected.
As for the diagonal cuts in the foundation beams - when people clear away steel debris they have to cut it up. There's nothing mysterious here - just some workmen with angle grinders clearing the debris.

Lies.... There were pools of molten steel in the ground at the ground zero site, clearly a catalyst such as sulphate was used on the buildings' support beams, the diagonal cuts on foundation beams in the basement support this and exactly match how buildings are traditionally demolished.
"the thermal insulation was knocked off the girders through the impact with the aircraft" - this does not explain building 7 which was never even hit by a plane, yet fell the same way as the two main towers.
I could go on and on....

Another piece of deception, a simular building in Madrid burned for 24 hours without this affect. Why not pay the church of scientology to investigate.
Israelis were arrested and deported after 9/11, it is a documented fact that the C.I.A trained the (supposed) hijackers, many of whom are still alive !
Wake up, this action was taken by government terrorists to justify more than a million deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan, for the subversion of democracy throughout the world.

It is quite obvious the motive for which the us made this happen????

Ok. Can someone explain why the towers fell in at free-fall speed? Why did builing seven - a building not connected to the towers - collapse? Magnetic energy to blame for that also? Why did the 9-11 Commission say "The cvrs and fdrs from American 11 and United 175 were not found..." Yet, the FBI claimed to have found the passport of Satam al-Suqami. Four different black boxes, made from the most resiliant materials known to man, were destroyed. We don't know what happened to them. Yet, a passport, made from a fragile material known as paper, managed to survive?? So many questions....I could go on...

Yes, maybe all that din from drumming has affected Jim Corr's cerebral cortex!

Guess Corr should just stick to his music - if that's what you call it!
