Two killed as plane crashes into mobile homes in Florida

Two people were killed when a small plane crashed into a mobile home park in Florida, an investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board said.

Dan Boggs of the NTSB says one of the deaths was the pilot and the other was someone killed on the ground.

Mr Boggs added that investigators do not believe there were any passengers in the plane.

The plane went down about 5:30pm on Tuesday evening into a mobile home park of a few dozen homes near West Palm Beach.

Mr Boggs said it is fortunate that the crash was not worse.

Domingo Galicia said his trailer was one of the ones engulfed in flames and his 21-year-old daughter was killed inside the home.
