Uni in lockdown after shooting

A South Carolina State University was in lockdown tonight after a student was injured in a shooting at an on-campus dormitory.

The university sent out an alert saying the student was hurt at the Hugine Suites. The school said police think they know who fired the gun and are looking for the suspect.

University spokeswoman Sonya Bennett said more information will released at a news conference later tonight.

South Carolina State University is a historically black university with about 3,200 students in Orangeburg, about 40 miles south of Columbia.

Later police said they were hunting four suspects after the shooting.
