Vegas gun rampage leaves three dead

Two gunmen, one shouting "This is a revolution", shot two police officers at a Las Vegas pizza restaurant before killing a third person and then themselves inside a nearby store.

The rampage began at about 11.30am local time when a man and woman walked into CiCi's Pizza and shot two officers having lunch.

They then fled to a Walmart store opposite, where they shot dead a person inside and killed themselves in what police said was an apparent suicide pact.

The police officers were critically injured , Las Vegas police spokesman Larry Hadfield said.

"We don't know anything about the suspects yet and are trying to learn more," he added.

The restaurant and Walmart remained closed as detectives scoured the scene and gathered evidence.
