Woman robs bank robbed at gum-point in attempt to get new teeth
Thursday, 2 February 2012
Police say a woman who appeared to not have any teeth in surveillance photos from a bank robbery last month has confessed, apologised and said she planned the heist because she needed the money for dentures.
Evelyn Marie Fuller, 49, was arrested earlier this week in Pennsylvania, where she has now been charged with robbing a First National Bank on 20 January.
The Observer-Reporter newspaper reported yesterday that Ms Fuller told a judge she has mental health problems and lives on her disability allowance.
Ms Fuller added that her pastor told her to tell the truth about what she did.
