Women missing for a decade found

Two women who went missing as teenagers about a decade ago have been found alive in a residential area about two miles south of the city centre, Cleveland police said.

Cheering crowds gathered on the street near the home where police say Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and a third woman were earlier found.

The identity of the third woman has not been confirmed.

Ms Berry disappeared on April 21 2003, when she called her sister to say she was getting a lift home from her job at a Burger King.

Ms DeJesus went missing on her way home from school about a year later.

Police say a 52-year-old man was arrested. There is no immediate word on charges.
