Commons morons a bunch of twits
House of Commons speaker John Bercow must be employing the language of diplomacy when he says the Westminster tone is characterised by 'yobbery' and 'public school twittishness'.
That's a polite, almost affectionate, description of the moronic name-calling and pathetic goading of regionally accented MPs which is regularly employed by arrogant, preening, self-fixated members (good word), more commonly at the expense of female colleagues.
Durham MP Pat Glass says women face 'orchestrated barracking' in a macho public school atmosphere. Twittishness?
Most of us would drop that friendly 'w'.
