Culture, but not as we know it

From ramblers to lazy slobs, there really is something for everyone.

If you're reading this in Belfast after 4 o'clock you're probably only a few yards away from something exciting or edifying.

Culture Night Belfast promises to bring the city's streets, galleries, pubs and even car parks and barber shops blazing into life and colour, not with petrol bombs but with music, theatre, poetry, dance and, um, pro-wrestling.

In a programme of dazzling ecleticism and with sparks of genuine originality, there are over 250 free events.

I like the sound of the pop-up poetry slams but you might prefer the roller derby. From ramblers to lazy slobs, there really is something for everyone.
