It's a funny old time of the month

My man of the week (everyone should have one) is Richard Neill, who sent a complaint to tampon-makers Bodyform for an advertising campaign which made him curse his penis for excluding him from all of the thrilling 'bike riding, rollercoasters, dancing and parachuting' escapades which menstruation appeared to bring on each month.

"Then I got a girlfriend, was so happy and couldn't wait for this joyous adventurous time of the month to happen," he wrote on Facebook, before detailing his ensuing despair when, instead, his partner "changed from a loving, gentle, normal skin-coloured lady to the little girl from The Exorcist".

Bodyform didn't just reply, they made a very cute little film directed specifically at Richard and addressing his points.

"We lied to you Richard. Sorry," Bodyform CEO Caroline Williams tells him.

"The reality is, some people simply can't handle the truth."

Ok, so it's good marketing, but it's really funny too. Type 'Bodyform responds' into YouTube to see it.
