You wait for ages for a challenger for Labour party leadership to appear. And then three come along at once.

Jack Straw, Harriet ‘This is my moment’ Harman and David ‘Gordon can win’ Miliband.

Of the three, from Gordon Brown’s point of view, the scariest has to be dorky Mr Miliband. He may not be Tony’s clone, but he’s a dead ringer for him.

Miliband has Blair’s insincere toothy grin, his hand gestures, his cheesy delivery.

Brace yourself Gord. This is Tony Two.
