Amanda Knox (above), found guilty by an Italian court of the murder of Meredith Kercher, has posted a picture of herself online holding up a placard proclaiming "Siamo innocente" (We are innocent). To whom is this slogan primarily addressed? Her co-convicted killer Raffaele Sollecito? If so the message of solidarity may not be working ... in a new interview Sollecito describes how Knox had spent hours in her apartment after claiming it had been broken in to and had found spots of blood. She seemed very agitated, he adds. Why did she spend so much time there, he asked her. Hmmm. We are innocent?
Sounds more like the emergence of a go-it-alone "I am innocent" message.
