You have to hand it to Rihanna. Whatever your views on her decision to get back with bad boy Chris Brown who bit her, hit her and choked her during a row three years ago, she's certainly milked the controversy for all the publicity going.
Her confirmation that the pair are again an item has made global headlines. As has just about every other development in her relationship with her ex to date.
Brown duets on her current album which is unambiguously entitled Unapologetic. Message, there?
He has undergone counselling, we're told, to help him get over his anger management issues. Although a Twitter outburst directed at a woman who had criticised him would appear to suggest he's not out of the woods entirely.
Is Rihanna mad to get back with him? Sadly, I think she probably is. But sadly I also think she is deeply in love with him and is letting her heart rule her head.
It would be good to think that Ri and Chris will live happily ever after without so much as a raised voice. But you can also understand why some of her fans may be worried for the girl re "leopard" and "spots".
In a recent GQ interview Rihanna says: "Love makes you go places you probably wouldn't ever go, had it not been for love."
The girl needs to know - A-amp;E should never, ever be one of those places.
