By George, it's a great holiday idea

You can spend a night in George Best's family home in East Belfast for just £125. It's been preserved as it was when he was growing up. Should appeal to fans and those keen to recreate their Belfast childhood memories of flowery carpet and lots of flock on the wallpaper.

I don't live too far from the great one's former house. I'm wondering if I could take a leaf out of Ryanair's marketing style and advertise a room in my house.

"For just £75 pp pn, stay in George Best's former neighbour's house with spectacular views of the Best family abode!*"

*Views subject to short bus ride and decent weather.

If there's much interest I'll even redecorate in keeping with the era. A nice painting on the landing wall of a wee girl with big tears, a pair of plastic castanets from Benidorm in the hall and a wee crocheted doll on the pink cistern? Lovely.
