Families deserve dignity of truth

Watching the documentary The Disappeared on BBC last week was a sad affair.

Never mind the actual murders, burials, denials, false information and, for some, still not knowing where their loved one is buried, the most frightening part of the whole programme for me was when Gerry Adams (above) spoke. Maybe NI needs to offer everyone involved in the Troubles immunity from prosecution so that families can at least be given the dignity of the truth.

By the way, I wouldn't want to be on a quiz team with GA. His memory's so poor these days, we'd never win. Sounds familiar...
