The chart from LucidTalk shows the number of votes polled by each party in the 2007 Assembly election following the St Andrews Agreemen; the election result consolidated the leading positions of the DUP and Sinn Fein at the expense of the SDLP and UUP. The UUP lost over 50,000 votes in this election, ceding nine seats in the process. The SDLP lost just over 12,000 votes, losing two seats
