Dermot Breen has paid a wonderful tribute to his late wife Jacqui who died from ovarian cancer at the age of 54 in January this year. He has just completed a 1,000 kilometre walk around Northern Ireland in her memory and raised £10,000 so far for research into the disease.

It is clear from his interview that his sense of loss is still very acute and his emotions are raw. That makes his feat all the more remarkable since he had to cover some tough terrain on his trek. Jacqui was a wonderful teacher as well as wife and mother and her legacy is a significant funding injection into research efforts. Give generously.
