A missing person story with a happy ending

How often have we heard of families continuing to live in hope that a missing loved one will be found alive and well when seemingly all hope has gone?

Sadly, all too often this hope is unfounded, but occasionally there is an uplifting story like that of Nollaig O'Connor, the woman missing for more than a year who has just been found in Spain. She is a woman who obviously has undergone some traumas in her life and who seemed to have vanished without trace. But her family's prayers have been answered and she has now been reunited with them.

They describe her return as a miracle, and for once that does not seem to be hyperbole.
